I rounded up 8 of the most flexible, gorgeous templates out there. Each one is designed to be easily personalized, so you can make it your own without starting from scratch. Whether you’re into dreamy pastels, edgy neons, or vintage vibes, there’s something here for you.
Pastel Dream
If soft, airy tones are your thing, the Pastel Dream template is a no-brainer. It features gentle gradients in blush, lavender, and baby blue, with plenty of white space to keep it clean. You can swap out the background colors or adjust the opacity of the overlays to make it pop more. It’s perfect for sharing self-care moments, like a cozy morning routine or a skincare haul. Minimalist Grid
Less is more with the Minimalist Grid template. It uses a clean 2×2 or 3×3 grid layout with thin borders and a monochrome palette—think black, white, and one accent color. You can easily change the accent color to match your brand or mood. This template is ideal for product showcases or simple quotes. When you want to keep things sleek, it’s a go-to. For a different take on minimalism, our neutral aesthetic instagram story template offers an understated elegance that’s hard to beat.
Vintage Film
Channel retro vibes with the Vintage Film template. It uses warm sepia tones, grainy textures, and a slight vignette to mimic old-school photography. You can customize the frame color or add a date stamp for authenticity. It’s perfect for memory dumps or throwback posts. Speaking of memories, our artistory templates are designed to help you relive your favorite moments in style—you might find some overlap with this aesthetic.
Boho Chic
Earthy tones, tribal patterns, and botanical elements define the Boho Chic template. You can swap out the patterned backgrounds for solid earth tones, or mix and match different textures. It’s great for travel diaries, food content, or fashion OOTDs that have a free-spirited vibe. Our fashion story templates take a different approach, but they might inspire your next outfit post.
Dark Academia
Dark Academia fans, this one’s for you. Think deep greens, burgundies, and browns, paired with serif fonts and a vintage notebook background. You can change the background to a library shelf or a moody painting. It’s perfect for study motivation, book recommendations, or introspective quotes. For more focused study content, our study motivation story templates pack a punch.
Neon Glow
Make your stories pop with the Neon Glow template. It features bright neon colors (pink, green, blue) on a dark background, with glowing outlines and halos. You can adjust the intensity of the glow or swap the neon colors to match your style. This template is a hit for night-out content, music playlists, or bold announcements. If you’re into music visuals, our music story templates are a great complement.
Watercolor Wash
Soft and artistic, the Watercolor Wash template mimics watercolor paint bleeding across the canvas. You can choose from pre-made splash patterns or upload your own watercolor backgrounds. The colors are soft and blend seamlessly. It’s ideal for wedding announcements, pet updates, or any content that feels handcrafted. For a romantic touch, our crush story templates might give you ideas on how to use this.
